Help us create welcome posters for your labour ward

At the tuning into mothers and midwives workshop at Doncaster Royal Infirmary on Monday 26^thMarch 2012 over 45 midwives, labour ward co-ordinators, obstetricians and student midwives came together for a workshop run by the Yorkshire and Humber HIEC as part of the Getting it right from the start project.

We finished the day with a short group exercise asking participants to design a poster for the labour ward which might help to make parents feel more welcome; applying the information and knowledge they had gained through the day.

We have developed the ideas from these posters and in order to make these as effective as possible we are asking you to feedback on what we could or should do to improve the draft posters before finalising the design and making them available to labour units across Yorkshire and the Humber.
