How to guide

On-line forums have been around for a number of years and we know that some of our members will be used to using them whereas others might need a little help.  As some  members of the safety in numbers and Getting it right from the start  network teams (and no we’re not naming names) are learning to use the forums as we go along we thought it would be helpful to share what we learn -  so welcome to our step by step guide to the on-line forums.

Please don’t be put off by the amount of text it is because we are making sure we literally go step by step but the activities will only take minutes to complete.

Before getting started it is important to understand not only how to use the forum technically but also some of the standards that forum members should adhere to for their own and each others peace of mind and protection when taking part in the forums.
