Living with long term conditions – Sustainable Gov report to be published

Dr. Paul Rice, Director of our Long Term Conditions theme is contributing to Sustainable Gov’s Long-Term Conditions Report will be distributed to 60,000 individuals from across all health services, local authorities, GP’s, housing association/residential care, community practices, special private clinics, screening services, Care Quality Commission, Strategic Health Authorities, Community Health Provider Organisations etc., to cover the latest policy developments and practical solutions for improving the lives of people living with chronic conditions and their carers.

A carefully selected range of topics to be included within the report include:

  • Promoting healthy living to cut heart disease
  • Using innovative technology to support the early detection and enable the prevention of LTCs
  • Changing the way you commission care to bring in a greater range of partner
  • Supporting older people with LTC to live independently

  • Integrating technology to support the health sector
